I just tried to watch Everything Everywhere All At Once for the first time bc I’ve always wanted to, I’ve heard such amazing things about it, but I couldn’t make it past the first ~25 minutes. The opening was just WAY too stressful and unpleasant for me.

So instead I’ve put on last year’s Nosferatu, also for the first time, and I find it SO COMEDIC? like this is just a really funny movie to me.

Woke up just after 5pm today, and immediately checked Steam and YES, I had Once Upon A Katamari! \o/ I proceeded to play it basically til 4am, minus only 2 20min breaks for food and one 1.5hr nap. 😂

It’s so good, and there’s so much to DO, I’m so excited. I stopped playing bc I got sleepy reading item descriptions of everything I’ve collected so far, but I’ve been lying down listening to YouTube and I’m feeling awake again so I think I’m diving back in. XD

Last night I randomly watched The Dark Crystal, which is extremely rare for me to suddenly watch something new, so I’m trying to ride this if I can and tonight I’m watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Also with ads, so continuing the nostalgia trend too. 😁

I wish I’d had a content warning for how horrendous the family in this movie is, it’s really unpleasant and upsetting and makes it really hard to watch.

I need a word for anticipating a future hyperfixation, because the brand new Katamari game comes out in a week and I will be OBSESSED for who knows how long.

It’s barely been a month since I ended a couple months’ fixation on the 2 original games (Katamari Damacy and We ❤️ Katamari), which only petered out bc I finally 100% all the achievements in both and still only have very few tasks unfinished in the 2nd one. A whole brand new game? Without 20 years of tips to find online? I WILL BE BUSY and I just want it nooowwww
